Meet Coach Piseno

Jake Piseno played long-stick midfield and close defense at the University at Albany, where he won the William C. Schmeisser Award as the nation’s top defender. He was a two-time America East Defensive Player of the Year and holds Albany’s record for caused turnovers. The Denver Outlaws took him No. 9 overall in the 2024 PLL Draft, and he was named the 2025 PLL LSM of the Year. He’s a two-time PLL All-Pro and three-time PLL All-Star. He was also drafted 35th overall by the Rochester Knighthawks in the 2023 NLL Draft. Internationally, Jake plays for the Haudenosaunee Nationals. He has made the All-World team twice and was named best defender at the 2023 World Championship in his first appearance at the men’s level. He brings that experience, and his love for the game, to athletes at every level.
