Smaller space, a shot clock, and nowhere to hide. We teach how the box game actually works, from offensive sets and transition to playing defense in a tight space, and players learn the why behind each concept along with the how. The hands, IQ, and toughness they build carry straight back to the field in the spring (a big reason so many college and pro players grew up playing both). Rosters are set by tryout, and tryouts for the 2026-27 season are complete. Teams practice Tuesday evenings from November 3 to December 15, with practice times between 5 and 8 PM. Tournament season starts right after. All Polar Bears teams play the Utica Border Wars Tournament on December 18, 19, and 20, and our 5/6 A team heads to Rochester for the Roots Tournament on January 9 and 10.
